Hmm.............. Half Life 2 may be easier as there's less focus on acing tricks like nade jumping when you can fly around on your hands.  :P

You hold objects with your hands. For all intensive purposes you're jumping off your hands right?

Got a nice attempt that ended up with a death caused by my own rifle'nade at Apprehension.
10 seconds before RandomEngy at that point. So a 42-45 run is very likely. (RE is'nt using the xen-teleport-skip nor the health-door)

Soon my friends  ;) hopefully

Almost there, failed at the very first Interlooper boost due to nervousity  :-[ my furthest attempt yet.
~39,40 at that point. I'm expecting a 41-42 run :>

Hey quad, I'm gonna hijack your thread, is that ok?  Cool.

Anyways, I've been working on HL2SS for a while now, and I got all the planning done, and I've been practicing a lot too, which has actually made me a better runner :D  The farthest I've gotten was d2_prison_04 in about an hour and 20 minutes, I messed up a lot ;D

How's HLSS coming ;D

Nice man! I hope you make it one day.

I am 100% done with planning and route, ofc I will have to improvise at some parts but not much.

But I have some serious problems with my mouse in Win7. I'm using MarkC mouseaccel fix. But it don't seem to work properly, sometimes my sens gets skyhigh for a second and then back to normal. not very good when you are executing important tricks in a SS...

I gonna install XP again, and soon Im out of school so I have more time working on it  :)

Cheers

Make sure that the surface you're using is smooth and make sure that there's no dust in the mouse. My technical knowledge is few and far between these days.  :P
